Synopsis:
Galaxion is a science fiction adventure and romance, one that feels something like a mix between Star Trek, classic Star Blazers anime, and a Lois McMaster Bujold (Hugo-winning author of the Miles Vorkosigan saga) novel. Unlike most graphic novel science fiction, Galaxion is not dark and gritty, but bright and clean and a little whimsical, and populated by characters you actually wouldn’t mind meeting over dinner and getting to know personally.

Creator's Notes:
I have not listed any of the Content Elements, meaning that none of those things are predominant features of Galaxion. But that does not mean it will never happen. I may use bleeped-out swearing in appropriate circumstances, and there will likely be some non-graphic violence when the plot calls for it. The romantic elements, when they occur, will be about at the same cautionary level as an episode of Star Trek.

Creator Bio:
Tara Tallan has been writing and drawing Galaxion since she was twelve. She was nominated for the Ignatz Award for Promising New Talent in 1998 and the Friends of Lulu Kim Yale Award for Best New Talent in 1998 and 1999. Recently, she has had a 40-page graphic novel called Roberta's Space Adventure published by Scholastic Education Canada for their Moving Up with Literacy Place program.
