Synopsis:
The day-to-day life of the Pixels, an ordinary family of icons who live inside the computer. Family, friendship, work, computers, online gaming, and ding-dong-ditch are all explored and poked at in this bi-weekly humor strip. It is the first comic (that we know of) that is done primarily using smilies, often found on website forums.

Creator's Notes:
We have endeavored to make our strip as family-safe as possible. However, this does not compromise our storytelling. We have some very involved storylines and have been told that the main reason people continue to read the strip is our character development. We are firm about our WC-G rating, though it should be noted that we do do the occasional potty-humor joke or have an "over-the-head" comment much like the old Bugs Bunny cartoons. But, those elements are only done on occasion, and never gratuitously. The two phrases that have been used most to describe our strip is "it's a lot of fun" and "it made me smile." We believe that best sums up Bitmap World.
Creator Bio:
Jim and Michelle Lehmann are a writing, comicking, web-designing, domestic team. They are the creators of several webcomics. In their spare time (which is usually at 3 am), they focus their energies on web-projects which are family safe and provided a needed service to the online community. They are the owners/operators of Family Webcomics.
